Josh Mali taught Communication Skills at Makerere University, and high school Literature and English, before starting a career in journalism with the BBC in 2006. He is the author of a children’s book, The Bad Friends (Fountain Publishers, 2003) and three plays, including The Betrothal (2019), and God of Small Hands (unpublished). The Women Are Here, his first collection of poems, was also published in 2019. He is currently working on a collection of short stories.
Besides a degree in Education (Language and Literature) from Makerere University, he holds an MA in Communications, Media and Public Relations from the University of Leicester.
