BEATRICE LAMWAKA is a Ugandan writer whose work has been shortlisted for the Caine Prize for African Writing. Her fiction and journalism explore themes of conflict, memory, and healing in contemporary East Africa. JOSHUA MALI is a Kenyan writer, editor, and scholar dedicated to amplifying the voices of East African authors and building bridges between Anglophone and indigenous literary traditions.
